Dear Friend,

In all my years as a musician, I have never heard anything even remotely close to what I’m about to share with you.

And in all my years of practicing the Hawaiian healing art of Ho’oponopono, I have never seen or heard of this incredible news.

Please give me a moment to set the stage for you…

 

It’s morning and..inspiration visits….

I was almost home after my morning walk through the river park in my subdivision.

I remember it was warmer than normal and the humidity was high.

I was looking forward to the cool air conditioning that was awaiting me inside my home.

As I walked up my street it began to lightly rain. I can still remember how soothing the water felt and the wonderful scent of the cool raindrops landing on the asphalt.

By the time I reached my driveway, I didn’t even want to go in the house, so I took a moment and stood in the rain.

What a wonderful refreshing feeling I thought.

Then all of a sudden, the moment was interrupted by a soft voice in the back of my mind.

 

“Use the sound of water” it whispered

 

At first I didn’t really pay attention.

“Use the sound of water,” it repeated a little louder this time catching my attention.

“Use the sound of water for cleaning!”

WHAT…

Wait a minute. What does that mean?

Now, this little voice had my complete attention.

I began thinking to myself, how would I use the sound of water for cleaning?

Then it became clear to me.

I’d always loved playing guitar whenever it rained. Just the sound of a few drops and I would grab my guitar and run to the back porch to sit and accompany the rainfall.

It seems so simple; I would compose a guitar piece accompanied by the sound of a rainstorm.

But the inspiration didn’t stop there, I would also compose pieces to accompany a babbling brook, a waterfall and the ocean.

The inspiration was so clear and made so much sense.

 

As we all know, over 70% of the Earth’s surface is water.

Most of you, is water.

This water has a continuous cleansing cycle, evaporating into the atmosphere, forming clouds and then releasing rain.

The rain falls back to the earth… replenishing the land, the plants and giving nourishment to animals and human beings.

Some of this rain then travels through rivers and babbling brooks. From higher to lower points, the water crushes down with great pressure creating magnificent waterfalls.

Eventually this water leads back to the ocean and then repeats this life sustaining process again.

Water, is a great necessity, without it nothing can live. Only earth and water can bring forth a living soul. Such is the greatness of water that spiritual regeneration cannot be done without it.

In short, water is a powerful cleansing tool.

 

Gaius Plinius Seconds, better known as Pliny the Elder said “Water swallows up the earth, extinguishes the flame, ascends on high, and by stretching forth as clouds challenges the heavens for their own, and the same falling down, becomes the cause of all things that grow in the earth.”

 

 

 

Ho’oponopono Instrumentation

 

In order for you to understand how unique “The Journey” really is, let me explain something to you —

Each track has been composed for bass guitar and three acoustic guitars.

At the foundation is the bass guitar, representing “Please forgive me.”

Forgiveness is the first step in clearing data. By forgiving we are forgiving one’s self and taking 100% responsibility. We are openly identifying that the data is within ourselves even if it appears to be coming from others. Accepting this responsibility and offering forgiveness is the beginning to allowing an open connection to the Divine.

This apology is not an apology of guilt, but a release of the data from your conscious awareness. As you say I’m sorry to the Divine, you are also saying I’m sorry to your higher self. Clearing even more data and aligning yourself back to zero.

Giving thanks is an expression of gratitude, an extremely powerful emotion and resonating vibration. Gratitude opens your spirit to accepting more Divine inspiration.

And centered above all is the “I love you,” guitar.

Love is one of the strongest forces in the universe. It has the ability to conquer all that face it. To be Divine is to love one’s self unconditionally.

When I went into the studio to begin composing for these four instruments knowing that each one represented one of the four phrases of the Ho’oponopono mantra it was as if I was on autopilot.

Every note seemed to fall right into place and had a deep connection to the Aqua cleansing sound in which I was playing over.

The best reaction ever!

 

After I finished my first rough mix, I sent the tracks over to my friend Dr. Joe Vitale and asked if he would please take a listen and offer any opinions.

 

His email back to me later that day was so extremely validating and made me feel so good about what I had created, that I saved the email.
